Do you ever wonder what we mean by More to Be?

Does it mean we are supposed to do more?

Or is there a hidden demand that we are supposed to become more?

Is More to Be more about working harder at becoming better?

Or is about simply becoming while seeking more of Him?

This is what we are all about…

{1} Grounded in a transformation principle tucked away in 2 Corinthians 3:16-18, More to Be is all about seeing tweens, teens, twenty-something gals and today’s women live life transformed as they invite God to enter their lives in a personal way and become more bright, more beautiful, more like Jesus.  This verse gives us our name and our purpose!

{2} Through digging deep into the Word, More to Be seeks to apply Biblical principles it everyday life so that authentic transformation may be understood and embraced.  This type of transformation is never about feeling better or doing more.  It is about becoming more like Him, so that we can leave an impact for Christ on the world around us.

{3} The team behind More to Be knows full well that real transformation is rooted in new thinking. This comes through the process of taking everyday beliefs and lining them up with the truth of Scripture (2 Corinthians 10:5 and Romans 12).  Therefore, in order to experience a transformed life, we must first undergo a radical change in thinking, which is what we hope to offer you here at More to Be through our life resources.

{4} More to Be is convinced that we live in a culture that defines identity and worth through appearances and status, and so we are crazy about reaching out to tweens, teens, and twenty-something gals with real answers to their real questions and also providing those answers to their moms and mentors.

{5} Not only will we answer these questions with humility, grace, transparency, and Truth, but we’re determined tackle all the tough topics with a relevant understanding of the culture.

{6} We are steeped in a passion for this generation of young women — tweens, teens, and twenty-somethings — and are committed to providing resources such as the Tool Shop resources that speak straight to their needs. But we also create these resources to enable moms to engage in the dialogue with their daughters, for mentors to have practical teaching resources, and because today’s Christian women have many of the same questions pounding on the hearts of the younger generation.

{7} We also believe that Biblical truth is best conveyed through relationships with real, live women functioning according to Titus 2:3-5, therefore we desire to reach out to women both online and in real life, providing life coaching opportunities in order to equip them to impact the next generation, since we know we can’t make a difference alone!

{8} One of the main ways we inspire Christian women to step into significant mentoring rolls with the next generation is through providing ETC. Mentoring resources — a well thought-through and tested approach designed to provide a safe-haven for tween and teen girls to ask their questions about life and have the opportunity to hear from women who love them with the truth.

{9} We are especially committed to supporting and engaging mothers through resources that focus on their unique needs, which is why we’ve created a format ideal for moms of tween and teenage girls. Grace Chats can be held at the same time as ETC. and even use the same resources in order to encourage moms and get them equipped to raise their daughters well.

{10} Our passion about becoming more is ultimately about showing the world the power of the Gospel through seeing this generation of women and the next become a tangible expression of Christ’s love.  It is about experiencing life transformed, becoming more bright, more beautiful, more like Jesus in a world desperate for the hope found in His love.
