Last month, I touched upon the biblical principle of what it means to “teach them diligently” in an article at Mothers of Daughters. It was a confession of sorts about not feeling qualified to mother my children with a strong Scriptural foundation seeing as I wasn’t raised in a home where the Word was part of our every day life.
But God, by His grace, has given me the chutzpah (alas, my Jewish roots) and desire to press into the Bible for wisdom on how to parent.
This month, I’m sharing some practical ideas for how to teach our children diligently when it comes to Biblical truth and relevant life application. I encourage you to pop over to Mothers of Daughters for ideas on how you can engage with your girls (and even your sons) in a way that will breathe Scripture hope and God’s grace into their lives as you seek to teach them diligently.
