Focus

1 Peter 2:9 CEV
But you are God’s chosen and special people. You are a group of royal priests and a holy nation. God has brought you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Now you must tell all the wonderful things that he has done.

Decision

You are chosen.

You are special.

You are royal.

You are holy.

And God has done a wonderful thing in you life . . . and is continuing to do that thing!

He is bringing you out of darkness and into his marvelous life.

He is wooing you into a deeper relationship with him through faith in His Son, Jesus, and by the working of the Holy Spirit. He is changing you, from the inside out, as your thoughts are transformed by His thoughts, your ways become his ways.

We’ve spent the last month digging into tiny little truths about God. We’ve focused on the Scripture, made a decision about our response to the Word, paused to surrender our sin and wayward decisions, and closed with a reflection point, challenging us to go forth changed by God.

It wasn’t that hard of a journey, was it?

The question now is whether you will continue to experience life transformed by growing deeper in your relationship with God?

The Lord will teach you the Scriptures, and by doing so, you’ll have a foundation on which to live a life of impact for the sake of those the Lord calls you to mentor.

Surrender

Lord God, thank you for this amazing journey through your word in just 3 minutes a day for 31 days. Thank you for all that you’ve taught me and for all I’ve yet to learn. God, give me a desire to immerse myself in the Scriptures, studying consistently, with a willingness to go deeper.   Lord I want to learn it for myself and be willing to teach it to those you bring into my life. Lord, I do want to live a life a impact, and I know that starts with following you, Christ, distinctly, so that I can mentor others biblically.  May your favor, O God, rest upon me as I seek to know you and your word more!
