It is life.
A life line to fellowship and time in the Word. A place to connect for more than coffee and family updates.
Women’s Bible Study is all about shushing out the noise of this world and tuning into the wisdom of the Word. Leah Adams’ Bible Study, From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest, does just that through providing a beautiful framework for growing in the Word while nurturing relationships in a small group setting.
Leah Adams is passionate about the Word and seeing women live out God’s best for their lives. She is a kindred spirit! Leah writes, capturing the heart of More to Be,
“Our young women today are learning about character and holiness from mainstream fashion and lifestyle magazines. To our shame, Christian women are sitting comfortably in soft pews in white-washed churches and allowing the world to teach its values to our young women. We, the body and bride of Christ, should be the ones teaching our young women how to be women of faith who believe in the one true God; women who exhibit noble character and holiness before God. This is our calling in this generation.”
From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest is about encouraging women recognize the reality of their story in the context of the legacy they are leaving behind for the next generation. Through focusing on the attributes of God leading into a serious investigation of personal character, Leah leaves no “issue” unturned. But she does so with humility and transparency, much in the same way you’ll find her at her blog, The Point Ministries.
From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest is a comprehensive six-week workbook study. Each week contains five days of homework designed to engage every participant in Biblical principles and a weekly legacy-related topic. In terms of commitment level, the reading is short, only two to three pages, which can be completed in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how much time you want to put into the concluding Meditation Moment designed for personal reflection. From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest is all about embarking on a journey, past, present, and future, but doing so looking through the lens of Scripture to gain a godly perspective. It is ideal for a group setting, although it would be a perfectly intimate and healing time spent one-on-one with the Lord.
Making the commitment to “do” Bible Study is a guarantee of growing in spiritual maturity. I highly recommend learning more about From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest at The Point Ministries and embarking on this study next in your journey (you can join me it…see below). It is a sure way to experience life transformed.
