Women’s Bible Study.  It is a life line to fellowship and time in the Word.  It is all about shushing out the noise of this world and tuning into the wisdom of the Word.

Will you join us beginning January 17th for a six-week Bible Study digging deep into the legacy we’ll leave behind?

Written by Leah Adams, From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest is about encouraging women to recognize the reality of their story in the context of the legacy they are leaving behind for the next generation. Through focusing on the attributes of God leading into a serious investigation of personal character, Leah leaves no “issue” unturned, but dives deeps with humility and transparency.

Leah shares in the introduction,

“Our young women today are learning about character and holiness from mainstream fashion and lifestyle magazines. To our shame, Christian women are sitting comfortably in soft pews in white-washed churches and allowing the world to teach its values to our young women. We, the body and bride of Christ, should be the ones teaching our young women how to be women of faith who believe in the one true God; women who exhibit noble character and holiness before God. This is our calling in this generation.”

From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest is a comprehensive six-week workbook study. Each week contains five days of homework designed to engage every participant in Biblical principles and a weekly legacy-related topic. In terms of commitment level, the reading is short, only two to three pages, which can be completed in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how much time you want to invest.

  1. Eager for details on the “in person” part of this study. Probably on the old lady end of the spectrum 🙂 but looking forward to meeting local Christian moms and participating in what looks like a great study.

  2. Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to let you know that you will be blessed by Leah’s study. I have the privilege of being Leah’s good friend in real life. We grew up in the same small town and the Lord brought her into my life when she moved back to North Georgia several years ago.

I am also privileged to be in the Bible study group that Leah has hosted in her home for the past eleven years. Our group was fortunate enough to do this study before it was published. I am so excited for all of you who will participate in Leah’s study on Legacy.

    Blessings,

    Cindy

  3. I am very interested in doing this study. Can you tell me how this will work? Is there a certain time we will all be online together? What kind of homework will we have?

I found this site because of a link I saw on Facebook where you featured Shelley Noonan. (Love her) then I come here to leave a comment and see my sweet sister-friend Stefanie is going to do this study!

Love this site and what you are all about here. I am glad I found you.

God bless you for your dedication to getting the word of God out there.

    1. Great questions, Denise! I’m so glad you stumbled by this way!

The details: Each week, I will post some questions regarding the study, and some of my own reflections from the week’s homework. Each participant will be able to share their answers and reflections in a post and link up, so we can visit one another. We may also use Facebook to have some real life chatting with one another.

All you have to do is order the book from Leah Adam’s website and be ready to roll with the work each week. I’d love to have you participate!
