It is a new day, a new beginning. We praise You, Father, for the work You do in us each day, each moment. Your breath, your will, your Word, ushers Life.

Father, we praise You, always, for stillness. Help us to praise You for noise.
Father, we praise You for quiet, for calmness. Help us to praise You for chaos, for turbulence we can’t control.
Father, we praise You for Creation––your language of beauty and dancing and music and love sung out. Help us to praise You for life admist darkness, turning everything into light.
Father, we praise You for hope, for how You come to rescue, how You know every part of us and adore us, your girls. Help us to praise You for exactly how You have made us.
We are no mistake.
Father, we praise You for children, your trust in us to walk with You to guide them home. Help us to praise You for your presence in the midst of our frustration, our calling out to You in our desperation. So often, You show us again the way to go.
Father, we praise You for love, for laughter, for joy, for community. Help us to praise You for tears, for sadness, for loneliness, for everywhere You are.
We know You see it all and do not turn away.
Father, we praise You for order and disorder, for clean and dirty floors, for teenagers’ shoes stacked near the door.
We praise You for husbands who love with gentleness and forgiveness, with patience and forbearance, with faithfulness and determination, with love and tenderness and faith.
We praise You for our bodies, our minds––arms that can hug our children, mouths that can word, “I love you.” We thank You for children yelling and laughing and the sound of our child’s beautiful voice when she talks.
We praise You for parents who love with tenderness and forgiveness, with vulnerability and openness and courage.
We praise You for women coming together, us gathered in a circle in your name. We praise you for making us, your girls, and for your promise to release us from our chains. We thank You for freedom from captivity––rescue from darkness and lies.
Yes, we praise You for friendship, for walks and words and honesty and love.
We praise You for our weakness, your strength, our mistakes, your perfection.
We praise You for this day, this life with You.
Each moment, all new beginnings.
This is beautiful Jennifer! I have to admit I don’t often praise Him in the noise and chaos of my life. But, He is worthy to be praised in all circumstances. Blessings!
