A Season For Every Color

Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that there is a season for everything.

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens…

I don’t know about you, but this is reassuring to me, as I tend to change my mind quite often, especially when it comes to fashion. I love that I can change my style and appearance with the seasons, and make it like my own.

Do you love to add personal touches to life, and cultivate beauty even in the simplest of ways?1a04402aa9e0eab1a7e5a35ea3bad7a7

What about experimenting with color in one of simplest ways possible:  paint your nails!

With the insanely expensive salon prices nowadays, I have come to love at-home manicures. Nothing fills me with more excitement than finding a new nail polish color. I love French manicures, as they are classic and timeless, but I have found that in the summer time, my heart and soul desire something a little different.

Spring and summer are a time of change. Out with the old, in with the new!

So my favorite and affordable nail polish colors as of late are…

H&M Nerd
This nail polish is one of my absolute favorites for any occasion. It is a nice, nude color that is classy and goes with everything. It is fun, beachy, and natural (AKA perfect for summer!).m227446162

Tiffany Blue by NYC
For those of you who may not know, I have been engaged for about a month now. The accent pop of color I am choosing for my wedding is Tiffany Blue. This has made me love all things in the shade, and this affordable nail polish is bright, summery, and oh-so-Breakfast at Tiffany’s.wet-n-wild-nail-polish-heatwave-en

Red Hot Summer by Wet’n’Wild
Wet’n’Wild is full of gorgeous colors that are perfect for girls on a budget. Red is my favorite color, and in the fall and winter months, I tend to go a bit darker. This shade is light, bright, and perfect for a big statement at your next beach party.

Enjoy these shades, and enjoy a summer of change. And be sure to fill each season of your life with color and beauty.

  2. I like to change things quiet often too. There is a time and a season in family lives, in the lives of women and I have a different hairstyle to mark every one! 🙂

I love this. So easy to undervalue what we do and it’s such a great reminder here that what mums do really does make a difference in the world. Great post.

I linked here from Thrive at Home Linkup and thought you might want to link this post at the linkup I host called Essential Fridays.

I’m sure my readers would love to see this!

    Blessings.
