Being single can really feel like the loneliest place in the world. And age doesn’t change that, right?
Whether, you’re sixteen and longing for that boy to ask you to the Junior Prom, or twenty-one and hoping for Mr. Blue Eyes to invite you out on a real date…waiting can feel like an eternity. Especially when you’re waiting on that relationship.
If that’s you, let me give you a word of encouragement.
Your longing to be in a relationship is natural and good.
God made you for relationships with others — He’s a relational God, wanting to be connected with us. He’s told us in Scriptures we need each other. And He’s set the framework for the type of love relationship we crave through being married…one day.
So your desire isn’t wrong. It is good!
But means we’ve got to figure out what to do while we wait on God to fulfill the desires of our heart.
That’s what this short video is all about, so take a few minutes to consider the practical side of how “Waiting Isn’t Wasted Time.”
