Five Essential Steps for Real Life Change

Five Essentials Steps for Real Life Change

Do you know what the secret is to experiencing real life change? Oh, yes, there’s a secret. It’s not a magic pill. Nor is it something you should hire someone to accomplish for you, although that would be ideal. It’s not even something that you can demand of God, although submitting to Him will make the process a whole lot easier. The secret to real life change begins with the “ah-ha.” What’s an “ah-ha”?  As I learned through my life coaching training and have come to see time and time again in my own life along with working with clients,…

How Embracing Life Change Begins with a Simple Yes

Life Change Begins with a YES

Did you make “vows” about what your life would look like, only to be disappointed when things didn’t go according to plan? My dreams of a corporate career, affluent lifestyle, and the perfect husband and kiddos weren’t ever going to meet the deeper need I had – the desire to be loved unconditionally, cared for intentionally, and appreciated daily. No accomplishment nor relationship can tick all those boxes. While I pursued my dreams, God was pursuing me. Brave Women Manifesto #2 - I've been bought at a price by Jesus Christ.

When We’ve Been Bought at a Price

I will acknowledge that I have been bought at a price for my sin, for which Jesus Christ died on the cross, so that I might be made right before God. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.…

I will not accept “as is” as a way of life . . .

I will not accept “as is” as a way of life, because God is not yet done with the work He began in me and intends to use my life in His good work.  Philippians 1:6 NIV …being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:10 NIV For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Heavenly Father, thank you for the good work you began in me…

Maybe that’s because I am a long-term thinker who happens to struggle with focus and attention to details. The process of prayerfully meeting with God at the end of each year to jot down goals built around biblical values helps me focus on the Lord’s purposes,…
