Have you ever seen a mosaic up close?
Mosaics are made with pieces of cut glass or broken shards of glass laid in cement to create a beautiful image. While one piece of glass may be independently beautiful, it is stunning to see how that same piece can become part of a composition to form something magnificent. And, sometimes, it’s the broken pieces that lend themselves to the best use, because they fit exactly into an empty spot.
When we consider how a mosaic is created, it perfectly reflects this generation.
They may be broken pieces living in a world marred by turmoil, but they are not without hope.
God’s redemptive hand is at work, perfectly positioning the broken pieces to shine for His glory.
Nothing is wasted, even a ripped up life. Even a soul wandering without purpose. This generation is not beyond God’s redemptive work. In fact, they may very well become the generation that shines most beautifully in this world as they discover the part God is calling them to play.
God, the master artist, has perfectly positioned each one of our girls to shine for His glory.
But what does that look like? What does it mean to embrace your God-color? And how does that pursuit lead to discovering life purpose?
The answer is found in seeking God with our girls and unpacking His Word in a way that is relevant and fresh. But we know that’s not always easy to do on your own, so equipping you with Mosaic: Bringing Out Your God-Color.
Will you c0labor us in reaching into the lives of the next generation and remind them how God has designed each one of them to shine their God-colors in this world?
Matthew 5:14-16a MSG
You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine!
Mosaic is written especially for today’s teen girls with the goal of helping them discover their life purpose. Within the pages of Mosaic, there are thought-provoking, life-changing questions waiting to be answered, such as:
- What if you embraced the process of pursuing God with your questions as you figure out what you believe for yourself?
- What if you explored your God-given wiring, including your strengths and weaknesses, so that you can discover how His power is at work in you?
- What if you uncovered your God-given gifting and discovered ways to love others better?
- What if you came to believe that the hard things in life don’t need to stop you, especially if you learn how to prepare for challenging times and trials?
Steeped in story-telling, biblical application, and thought-provoking questions, Mosaic leads teen girls through the journey of discovering their life purpose as they unpack their God-given wiring, explore their spiritual gifting, redefine love, and consider the matter of suffering.
Mosaic sets the stage for an encounter with God and casts a God-color vision for the future.
