M.O.M. Challenge

MOM Challenge

More to Be is committed to motherhood, believing that a mom is the best influence for her children.

We believe that mother is a calling and a gift, a privilege and a responsibility.

We also realize that with all the demands on our time, it is way to easy to get distracted and miss the opportunities to make the most of the opportunities we have been given to influence the next generation.

So we’ve created the M.O.M. Challenge to offer accountability and perspective in your motherhood journey.

Instead of wishing the time away, as moms commit to making the most of our opportunities to show the love of Christ to our families.

Instead of packing in our lives with projects and plans, we seek to bring quality family time and rest to our lives.

Instead of missing the key moments of life together, we look for how to live with eternal value.

As moms, we determine  to cultivate meaningful interactions with our children as we hit the pause button on life to focus on looking into their eyes, listening to their hearts, leaning into their lives, laughing together, and leading by example.

The M.O.M. Challenge is about recharging our intentionality in mothering, as we live out Ephesians 5:16, which calls us to make the most of every opportunity.

Would you like to take the M.O.M. Challenge?

All you need to do is make the commitment to the Lord and find someone to hold you accountable. You may also want to post this challenge at your blog.  Or you may want to post on Facebook, asking for accountability to have friends kick you off of screen time and back into real life, if they think you’re posting too much!

Feel free to leave a comment or link below sharing your commitment to the M.O.M. Challenge.

May you make the most of your time with your family, while they are still within your home!

  1. Oh MAN. How did you know this is EXACTLY what I need?! I’m on the computer TOO much, and I feel guilty about it all the time. :/ I’m a homeschooling mom and I end up lazing away the days in front of my screen instead of actively participating in my children’s life. Sigh.

I love this calling/opportunity/reminder. Now to figure a way to incorporate it into my life!
