As you might have figured out, we’re pretty crazy about the Word here at More to Be. We believe the Scriptures are the only source of truth. And we believe that God’s truth is always relevant. It provides us answers to every question, equips us through every struggle, and encourages us through every trial.
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness…
God gave us the Word so that we may have instruction, guidance, direction, and hope, as the Holy Spirit draws upon what we read and learn in order to convict us to live for the glory of God. But finding answers in the Word can be overwhelming. That’s why we are here for you, to work as a team to help you learn and apply relevant Biblical truth. That is also why we have created the Immersed Challenge: An Opportunity to Unplug from the World and Plunge into God’s Word Daily.
With a simple swap of time — giving up one song, one Facebook like, and one gossip-filled conversation in exchange for 15 minutes in the Word — you can begin a journey of being immersed in Truth that transforms.
We pray you will use these resources to launch into a 365-day commitment of getting into to God’s Word.

Connect for Accountability
Each Monday, we post a Bible verse on our Facebook page, so join us there to start the week off immersed in the Word.
Definitely!! This is a great idea!!
Elisa, I found your challenge & I need to be a part of it! Ineed the accountability, the structure & regimen of reading God’s Word. I have no ink for my copier; however, I have written out the contract & signed it. Where do I daily write down my verse? Just for myself, or on the FB page? Tomorrow is my birthday, and no better way to start my 61st year of life; disciplining myself in the things of God! Thankyou for your ministry!
Hi Helen I am a friend of Lisa’s and just wanted to let you know you can post your verse and thoughts on the Immersed FB page. Happy blessed birthday and welcome to the Immersed challenge 🙂
oic that you are already posting and being a blessing <3
Linda, thankyou for your help. I was thinking fo saying why the one verse sticks out to me, but I thought that was maybe to much. I just absolutely love this! I have failed so many times at consistently reading the Word daily; a plan. But I just feel in my spirit I will be successful; with the Lord helping me discipline myself. I thankyou so much for this help of the immerse challenge & the way to show our accountability.
This is something I so need and its always been a joy and blessing participating in your challenges. Please please count me in!
As 2 Timothy 2:15 (ESV) shares,”Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”
So great to see you and your new site!
Not sure if my comment posted (computer has been acting funny) but this is something I need and want and desire and pray to be fully immersed in ever more. Please count me in!
So glad you have joined Sunflower faith 🙂 welcome to the immersed challenge please leave your thoughts on the fb page. Looking forward to growing in the Lord together.
Linda,
Most definitely and thank you so much for the warm welcome. 🙂
My boyfriend and I just started doing the Immersed Challenge together! We both desperately wanted to dig deeper into God’s Word as individuals, but also as a couple longing for God to strengthen our relationship as we strengthen our relationships with HIM. I have many favorite scriptures, but I’ve always really loved Psalm 16:9-11. Its in these verses that the Lord proclaims boldly that HE will NEVER abandon us and that HE will make known to us the path HE has set for us.
