Is it time for a Fresh Start with God?

It’s nearly the New Year, so of course, we’re talking about all things new. New resolutions. New opportunities. New habits. But how many of those new things we like to pursue actually become a reality?

What if this year wasn’t marked off by making one more failed commitment towards change?

What if we gave up our resolutions in favor of pursuing a fresh encounter with God?

Imagined if you gave up focusing on that one thing you don’t like about yourself or that one area of feeling stuck and instead sought God for His perspective on your whole life?

What if you invited Him to speak to your soul honestly while unloading everything in your heart, even if it meant getting help in order to do so?

Friend, could this be the year in which you gave up believing “as is” is your best and discovered the fully abundant life the Lord promises?

1

The Lord longs for you to live in His presence, steeped in His word, and cared for tenderly by a community that wants to see His transforming work accomplished in you. The invitation stands before you. It’s not out of reach nor does it need to be overwhelming.

Real change takes place when God gets a hold of your heart & mind & changes you from the inside out.

I know because that’s what He has done for me . . . and continues to do! And I’ve seen Him accomplish it in the women I’ve coached as well as the girls I’ve mentored. I know He wants to accomplish it for you, too! It’s not a formula that God puts into work, it’s a relationship with Him that makes the difference. Sometimes, however, we just need some guidance to know how to engage in that relationship in a deeper way. That’s what Meet the New You: A 21 Day Plan for Embracing Fresh Attitudes and Focused Habits for Real Life Change is all about!

What if you gave up making resolutions in favor of pursuing a fresh encounter with God?

After a year and half of laboring away on this precious book (actually make that 20 years), you get to reap the benefits and I couldn’t be more humbled by God doing exceedingly, abundantly more than I could ask or imagine!

Nearly every life lesson and bit of wisdom God has given me through His Word, the Holy Spirit, and godly friends and mentors is packed into Meet the New You.

Plus, every tool I’ve ever used with my life coaching clients is also tucked inside.

Meet the New You is not just a book to kick back and read in order to feel good, although the stories will encourage you! It’s much more interactive then you might expect, as it’s steeped in biblical principles that you get to put into practice. The entire premise of this book is built on the Trap & Transform Principle, which is inspired by 2 Corinthians 10:5 and Romans 12:2.

Your thinking determines your living, so in order to change your habits, you’ll need to consider what you believe and line up your thoughts up against the Truth.

What’s Inside?

Chapter by chapter, you’ll discover how you can move forward with new habits shaped by God’s truth. And you’ll have me along for the ride, as your life coach, cheering you on with stories, worksheets, questions, and Scripture-based prayers as I take you through the five life coaching phases:

  • Awareness: Where are you at today? How did you get here?
  • Assessment:  How did God make you fearfully, wonderfully, and on purpose?
  • Obstacles:  What is standing in your way? How do you feel stuck?
  • Solutions: What steps does God want you to embrace moving forward?
  • Vision:  Where does God want you to go? What does a clear vision with goals look like?

So if you’re looking to . . .

  • get unstuck
  • figure out how to better use your time
  • uncover the good in the way God’s wired you up
  • make wiser decisions
  • cultivate margin space
  • eliminate the clutter in your life
  • develop healthier relationships
  • discern what God wants you to focus on next
  • prayerfully discern a mission for your life
  • grow spiritually

. . . then this book is for you. But friend, it’s not just about it!

My prayer is that God will not only use this book to transform you from the inside out but that He’ll use you to impact the next generation.

A woman changed by God can’t help but be a world changer.

I’m also praying that Meet the New You will be the first step towards a fresh encounter with God and that you’ll look back on this point in your life able to recount how God did exceedingly, abundantly more in you than you could have ever asked or imagine.
