Moms, what does leading with a servant heart look like in a family?
When we lead like Jesus, we serve God and others, especially our children, with love as our ultimate goal.
So while we’re navigating through the tween and teen years, wouldn’t it be a good idea to consider the leadership style of Jesus and how to apply that to our parenting?
Join Us for a Moms Book Club
We’re excited to host a Moms Book Club in our Moms Facebook group kicking off on January 14th, and we’d love to have you join us. Together, we will read and discuss Lead Your Family Like Jesus by by Tricia Goyer, Ken Blanchard, and Phil Hodges. This Focus on the Family book is designed to enable moms to

This user-friendly book’s practical principles and personal stories mark the path to a truly Christ-centered family, where integrity, love, grace, self-sacrifice, and forgiveness make all the difference.”

I’m a mom of 2 little ones. Could I join the study? I have the book, but I’m so much more motivated to read it when I’m in a group. Thanks!
Yes, Shonda, you are welcomed into our group. Come join in!
I am so thankful to have stumbled upon your blog! I found you on the linky at SITS. As a mom of a 16 yo son and 14 & 5 yo daughters, I can really use your inspiration and guidance!
Hi Valerie! We’re so glad you found us and look forward to serving you!
I have never done a Facebook book study. Can you tell me a bit more of what to expect? Is there a time of day I am supposed to long on? How will discussion happen? I’m sorry, I am clueless, but think this is a great opportunity and don’t want to miss out!
Stacy, great questions. Here’s the scoop:
– You can show up online in the Facebook group whenever you want.
– The leaders of the group have a schedule and will be posting in that group on certain days of the week.
– You can read their post in the group and respond in a comment below their post.
So it is like a self-paced course with an opportunity to interact with others just like you do on Facebook.
Sounds easy enough! Thank you
Looking forward to it:)
