Focus
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 NLT
So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Decision
How do you define your worth?
Is it determined by what others say about you, or is based on your performance or accomplishments?

We are worthy because we belong to the God of the Universe, who spun this world into being and miraculously brought to life every living thing, including us! Not only that, but through faith in in Jesus Christ as Lord, we not only live on this planet, but we also receive a holy and mighty inheritance fit for the children of God.
When we are part of God’s family, our calling and our life purpose is inherently worthy!
Anything we do for the glory and honor of God comes from His power at work inside of us and the prompting of our faith – our relationship with God that is established by love and bound in His grace.
Surrender
Heavenly Father, please make me keenly aware of how I strive to do things and pursue opportunities for the sake of praise instead of in response to your love. Help me, Lord, to discover my worth in you, as your precious child, and give up on the many tiring things I do to please you or others. Open my eyes to how I can express my love for you in action, without performing for your approval. Thank you God, that your power and great is more than sufficient for this life you’ve given me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
